Age Requirements
Applicants must meet one of the following criteria:
- Be aged 18–24 on October 1, 2026 (born after October 1, 2001, and before October 2, 2008); or
- For medical, dental, pharmaceutical, law, and engineering students completing professional internships, be aged 18–25 on October 1, 2026; or
- Be under 27 years old on October 1, 2026 (born after October 1, 1999) and have completed their first undergraduate degree on or after October 1, 2025.
Academic Requirements
- Have completed an undergraduate degree, typically a Bachelor’s degree.
- Possess an excellent academic record.
- Candidates with a First Class Honours degree or its equivalent are generally more competitive for admission to the University of Oxford.
English Language Requirement
- Demonstrate a level of English proficiency that satisfies the University of Oxford’s higher-level English language requirements.
- Applicants whose first language is English and who are citizens and residents of majority English-speaking countries may be exempt from this requirement.
