Scholarship Details
The ITU Artificial Intelligence and Data Science Applied Research Center (ITU AI), in partnership with Google DeepMind, is inviting applications for the Google DeepMind AI Master’s Scholarship for the 2026/2027 academic session.
The scholarship is designed to support outstanding local and international students pursuing master’s degrees in Artificial Intelligence and related fields while helping to develop the next generation of AI researchers and innovators.
Successful scholars will receive financial support throughout their studies and be paired with a Google DeepMind researcher for one-on-one mentorship focused on career growth and professional development in Artificial Intelligence.
The scholarship supports ITU’s mission of advancing AI through:

- Artificial Intelligence Education
Eligibility Criteria
To be considered for the Google DeepMind AI Master’s Scholarship 2026, applicants must:
- Be a Turkish or international applicant.
- Secure admission into one of the following eligible master’s programmes at Istanbul Technical University for the 2026/2027 Fall Semester:
- Computer Engineering / Computer Science
- Electrical and Electronics Engineering
- Control and Automation Engineering
- Applicants outside the Computer Engineering/Computer Science programme must pursue an AI-focused study track.
- Complete at least four Artificial Intelligence elective courses.
- Conduct an AI-related master’s thesis.
Priority will be given to:
- Female applicants.
- Applicants who are currently unemployed.
