The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board has announced that the portal for printing the 2026 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) Original Result Slip is not yet available for candidates.

This was disclosed by JAMB’s Public Communication Adviser, Fabian Benjamin, in a statement posted on his official X account. He urged candidates to remain calm and patient as the board finalises other important examination processes.

Benjamin explained that the board recently completed the foreign UTME examinations and is currently making arrangements for the mop-up examination meant for candidates who were unable to participate in the main examination due to circumstances beyond their control.

According to him, the delay in activating the result slip portal is linked to the nature of the UTME, which serves as a ranking examination. He noted that all necessary processes, including adjustments and rankings, must be concluded before candidates can access and print their original result slips.

He further assured candidates that the portal would be activated once all pending procedures are completed. The board, he said, would officially notify candidates when the printing process begins.

Benjamin also apologised for the inconvenience caused by the delay and appealed to candidates to be understanding while the board concludes the remaining arrangements.
