The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board has announced the commencement of the 2026 UTME change of institution and course process for candidates seeking to modify their admission choices.
The development was confirmed in a statement released by JAMB’s spokesperson, Fabian Benjamin, who stated that candidates can now visit accredited Computer-Based Test (CBT) centres nationwide to process the necessary changes.
According to the Board, candidates interested in changing their preferred institution or course of study are expected to complete the procedure only at approved CBT centres across the country.
JAMB emphasized that using accredited centres is important to ensure proper processing and to avoid mistakes that could affect candidates during the admission process.
The Board also announced that printing of the original 2026 UTME result slips will officially begin on Monday, May 18, 2026.
Candidates were further advised to follow all official procedures carefully and avoid unauthorized centres to prevent errors or complications related to their admission applications.
