The University of Delaware is offering an M.S. graduate assistantship in the Department of Entomology and Wildlife Ecology, commencing in July 2026. This research-focused program centers on studying the abundance and distribution of mesocarnivores in Delaware, with particular attention to species such as the gray fox and potentially weasels.
The selected candidate will lead a statewide camera trap survey, marking the first comprehensive study of mesocarnivores in the region. In addition to fieldwork coordination and execution, the student will handle data entry, analysis, and report writing, contributing significantly to wildlife research and ecological understanding.
Eligibility Criteria
To be considered for the University of Delaware Scholarship, applicants must:
- Demonstrate interest in pursuing an M.S. in Wildlife Ecology
- Hold a B.S. degree in wildlife ecology or a closely related field
- Have a minimum undergraduate GPA of 3.0
