The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board has announced a revision to the schedule of the 2026 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination, specifically affecting candidates in the first session.
In an update shared on its official X platform on Monday, the board disclosed that candidates assigned to the first session are now expected to arrive at their examination centres by 7:00 a.m., replacing the previously scheduled 6:30 a.m.
According to the board, the examination for this session will commence at 8:30 a.m. and conclude at 10:30 a.m. The notice emphasized that this change only affects the arrival time, while the new start and end times remain clearly defined.
JAMB also reassured candidates that there is no need to reprint their examination slips as a result of this adjustment.
Additionally, the board noted that the UTME will continue to run in four sessions daily from Monday to Friday, with updated schedules designed to improve coordination and efficiency across Computer-Based Test centres nationwide.
