The Adedeji Scholarship Program (TASP) 2027 celebrates students who demonstrate academic excellence while pursuing interests beyond the classroom.
Named in honour of a journey defined by both academic achievement and curiosity, the scholarship recognizes students in their freshman, second, or penultimate year who actively engage in activities such as entrepreneurship, community service, creative arts, leadership, innovation, or other meaningful pursuits alongside their studies.
Rather than focusing solely on grades, the programme seeks applicants who display intellectual curiosity, initiative, and a commitment to making a positive impact through diverse experiences both within and outside the university.
Eligibility Criteria
To be considered for the The Adedeji Scholarship Program (TASP) 2027, applicants must:
- Be a current 100–300 level student at the University of Ibadan.
- Be enrolled in the Faculty of Economics, Social Sciences, or Arts.
- Demonstrate active participation in meaningful extracurricular or enrichment activities within or outside the university.
- There is no mandatory minimum GPA requirement, although a strong academic record will strengthen your application.
Scholarship Benefits
Successful applicants will receive:
- Full tuition fees for one academic session
- Full accommodation fees for one academic session
- Scholarship renewal for one additional academic session based on exceptional performance
- Admission into the one-year ASP Scholars Fellowship
