Note: Nursing, Medicine, and Clinical Pharmacy programmes are not eligible under the scholarship.
Eligibility Criteria
To be considered for the MTCP Scholarship 2026, applicants must:
- Be a citizen of a developing country
- Be 45 years old or younger at the time of application
- Possess an excellent academic record with at least a Second Class Upper degree or a minimum CGPA of 3.0
- Meet English language requirements with either:
- Minimum IELTS score of 6.0, or
- Minimum TOEFL score of 60, or
- Proof that previous studies were conducted in English
- Be medically fit
- Obtain admission into an eligible Malaysian university under the MTCP programme
- Possess an official admission offer letter from a participating institution
