As a fast-growing community with over 10,000 members across multiple African countries, She Code Africa focuses on fostering technical growth, mentorship, networking, and visibility for women at all stages of their careers.
Through this initiative, beneficiaries are equipped with laptops and access to training programmes, enabling them to enhance their skills, build projects, and pursue opportunities in the technology ecosystem. The programme reflects a commitment to bridging the gender gap in tech by ensuring equal access to resources and opportunities.
Eligibility Criteria
To be considered for the She Code Africa Laptop Scholarship 2026, applicants must:
- Be a female applicant
- Follow She Code Africa on at least one platform (Instagram, Twitter, Facebook, or LinkedIn)
- Not own a working laptop and must have already started a journey in tech
- Be available to receive the laptop physically in Adamawa, Ondo, Edo, or Ebonyi State
- Be a registered member of the She Code Africa community
