The NNPC/Renaissance Joint Venture Enterprise Development Programme is currently accepting applications from qualified Nigerian youths for its 2026 edition. Previously known as the NNPC/SPDC JV LiveWIRE Programme, the initiative continues its mission of nurturing entrepreneurship and supporting business development across the country.
Renaissance Africa Energy Company Limited, the operator of the joint venture involving the Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited (NNPC), Renaissance, TotalEnergies, and Agip Energy and Natural Resources, established the programme to empower young people with entrepreneurial knowledge and practical business skills.
The programme targets ambitious individuals between the ages of 18 and 35, providing them with comprehensive entrepreneurship training, mentorship opportunities, and access to start-up financing. Its objective is to help participants build viable enterprises that can contribute to economic growth and job creation.
Eligibility Criteria
To be qualified for the NNPC/Renaissance Enterprise Development Programme, applicants must:
- Be between 18 and 35 years old
- Be willing to start and manage a business
- Be an indigene of Rivers, Bayelsa, Delta, Imo, Abia, Akwa Ibom, Cross River, or Edo State
- Possess a University Degree or Higher National Diploma (HND) in any discipline
- Have completed the NYSC programme where applicable
- Not be engaged in paid employment
- Have an innovative and viable business idea
- Demonstrate a genuine interest in entrepreneurship and business ownership
- Not have operated a business for more than three years
- Not have previously benefited from the Renaissance Enterprise Development Programme (formerly NNPC-SPDC JV LiveWIRE), community skills training, agricultural programmes, or similar enterprise development initiatives
