The Nigeria Jubilee Fellows Programme (NJFP) 2.0 is aimed at empowering young Nigerian graduates by bridging the gap between academic learning and practical industry experience. The initiative was introduced by the Federal Government in partnership with the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) to address youth unemployment and improve employability among graduates.
Through the programme, selected fellows will be placed in reputable organisations across Nigeria where they will gain structured workplace experience, develop professional skills, and build valuable industry networks. In addition to monthly financial support, the programme also promotes economic inclusion, career advancement, and national development by preparing participants for long-term success in their chosen career paths.
Eligibility Requirements
To be considered for the Nigeria Jubilee Fellows Programme (NJFP), applicants must:
- Be a Nigerian citizen
- Be a fresh graduate with a Bachelor’s Degree or HND certificate from any discipline
- Have graduated not earlier than 2022
- Possess at least a Second Class Lower (2.2) for Bachelor’s degree holders or Upper Credit for HND holders
- Be 30 years old or younger
- Not currently be employed
- Have completed the mandatory National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) or possess an exemption certificate
- Demonstrate commitment to their chosen career path
- Show interest in contributing to Nigeria’s socio-economic development
- Possess good time management and professional conduct
- Have strong verbal and written communication skills
