The 2026 Deloitte Cybersecurity Internship Program is an intensive training initiative created to develop the next generation of cybersecurity professionals in Nigeria. Through the Deloitte Academy Cyber Security Programme, participants will gain practical knowledge and technical expertise needed to thrive in the rapidly evolving cybersecurity and information technology industry.
The program is designed to help talented individuals build highly sought-after technical skills while benefiting from Deloitte’s global learning and development culture. Participants will be exposed to industry best practices, professional mentorship, and practical learning experiences that prepare them to deliver high-quality cybersecurity solutions and become highly employable in today’s competitive workforce.
Eligibility Criteria
To be considered for the 2026 Deloitte Cybersecurity Internship Program, applicants must:
- Possess a Bachelor’s degree (B.Sc., B.A., etc.) in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline with a minimum of Second Class Upper (2:1) or Upper Credit.
- Have a minimum of five credits in WASSCE/NECO (or equivalent), including English Language and Mathematics, obtained in one sitting.
- Be 28 years old or younger at the time of application.
- Demonstrate the ability to think creatively and learn new concepts independently.
- Have cybersecurity-related certifications (this is an added advantage).
- Possess knowledge of Information Technology, including operating systems, networking, or application development.
- Have knowledge of IT systems such as Operating Systems, Networks, Applications, or Databases.
- Be proficient in the use of Microsoft Office tools, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Knowledge in any of the following areas will be an added advantage:
- Vulnerability Assessment and Penetration Testing
- Security Operations
- Incident Response and Investigation
- Network Monitoring
- Email Security
- Security Analytics
- Implementation of Security Standards
- Deployment or management of security tools such as SIEM, NAC, DAM, WAF, NGFW, UTM, and related technologies.
