Eligibility Criteria
To be qualified for the Deakin University RTP Scholarship, applicants must:
- Be a domestic or international student enrolled in a Higher Degree by Research (HDR) program at Deakin University
- Have completed at least four years of tertiary education studies
- Not be receiving an equivalent Commonwealth-funded scholarship intended to offset HDR tuition fees
- Not be receiving income from another source for general living expenses that exceeds 75% of the RTP or DUPR stipend rate
- Have achieved at least:
- 80% or equivalent in the research component of previous studies, or
- An equivalent level of academic achievement based on:
- Relevant work experience
- Research publications
- Previous research experience
- Meet all minimum admission requirements outlined in the Higher Degrees by Research (HDR) Admission, Selection and Enrolment Procedure
