Scholarship Details
The CEEPUS Scholarship 2026–2027 is an international academic mobility program that promotes educational cooperation among Central and Southeastern European countries. The program allows students to spend one semester (3–5 months) studying abroad, attend summer schools (6–30 days), or participate in short-term mobility programs for thesis writing, research, fieldwork, or internships.
Teachers can also benefit from dedicated mobility opportunities involving teaching and thesis supervision at partner institutions. Through both network mobility and Free-mover options, participants gain access to high-quality education, collaborative research, cultural exchange, and international academic experience across participating CEEPUS member countries.
Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for the CEEPUS Scholarship, applicants must:
- Be a student or teacher enrolled at a university in a CEEPUS member country.
- Be applying to study or teach in another participating CEEPUS country.
- Have completed at least two semesters of university study (for student applicants).
Student Mobility
- Be enrolled in a Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD program.
- Apply either through a CEEPUS Network or as a Free-mover.
Short-Term Student Mobility
- Be a Bachelor’s or Master’s student currently working on a thesis, or a PhD student.
- Apply through a Network or as a Free-mover.
Teacher Mobility
- Complete a minimum of six hours of teaching or student supervision at the host institution.
- Apply through a Network or as a Free-mover.

Successful applicants of the CEEPUS Scholarship will receive:

- Two letters of recommendation (for Free-mover student applicants).
- Letter of Acceptance from the host university (for Free-mover students).
- Letter of Acceptance from the host university (for Free-mover teachers).
