The African Leadership Academy (ALA) is inviting applications for its Class of 2027, offering talented young Africans the opportunity to participate in its globally recognized leadership and diploma programme.
ALA’s admissions process is designed to identify students who demonstrate exceptional leadership potential, academic ability, and a strong commitment to creating positive change in their communities and across Africa. Rather than focusing solely on academic performance, the Academy adopts a holistic selection process that evaluates each applicant’s character, resilience, and leadership qualities.
Each year, ALA brings together students from diverse cultures, backgrounds, and perspectives, creating a vibrant community of future African leaders committed to driving meaningful impact.
Eligibility Criteria
To be considered for the African Leadership Academy Scholarship Program 2027, applicants should demonstrate the following qualities:

Each year, more than 2,000 young leaders from across Africa apply for admission, with approximately 130 students selected into each cohort through a competitive selection process.
