The Abdulkabir Aliu Foundation Scholarship is a fully funded program that covers tuition fees and living expenses for successful applicants admitted into approved institutions in Nigeria as well as Integral University, India.

Scholarship Details
The Abdulkabir Aliu Foundation Scholarship is an educational support initiative established by Alhaji (Engr.) Abdulkabir Aliu, the Chief Executive Officer of Matrix Energy Group. Since its launch in 2014, the scholarship program has expanded significantly, growing from supporting 70 outstanding students in six federal universities to providing opportunities for students across 13 federal universities in Nigeria and selected institutions abroad.
As part of its commitment to educational advancement and human capital development, the Foundation also offers support to eligible beneficiaries, including indigent Muslim Law graduates of Obafemi Awolowo University and Law graduates of Ede origin who have secured admission into the Nigerian Law School. The scholarship aims to remove financial barriers and enable deserving students to pursue quality education and achieve their academic goals.
Eligibility Criteria
To be considered for the Abdulkabir Aliu Foundation Scholarship, applicants must:
- Have secured admission into an undergraduate or postgraduate programme at any of the eligible universities or at Integral University, India.
- Possess a minimum CGPA equivalent to a Second Class Upper Division (2:1) from previous academic studies.
- Be a Nigerian citizen with a valid means of identification.
- Be an indigene of Ede Town for applicants applying under the Indigene Scholarship category.
