Program Details
The Nigerian Content Development and Monitoring Board (NCDMB) has introduced a major human capital development initiative aimed at training over 10,000 young Nigerians in specialized and high-demand skill areas within the oil and gas industry.
The programme, known as the Oil and Gas Field Readiness Training Program, was created to prepare graduates and technicians for emerging opportunities resulting from increased investments and activities in Nigeria’s energy sector.
To ensure practical industry exposure, the training will be conducted in partnership with multiple service companies across different skill areas. Participants will undergo intensive classroom sessions, laboratory training, professional certification, and practical field experience designed to improve employability and readiness for industry roles.
Eligibility Requirements
To be considered for the NCDMB Oil and Gas Field Readiness Training Program, applicants must:
- Be a Nigerian citizen
- Be below 35 years of age
- Possess an OND, HND, or BSc in Engineering, Sciences, Technology, or related disciplines
Program Duration and Benefits
Successful applicants of the NCDMB Oil and Gas Field Readiness Training Program will receive:
