Eligibility Criteria
To be qualified for the Tinubu Engineering Mentorship Program, applicants must meet the requirements outlined below:
Graduate Engineers
Applicants must:
- Be Nigerian citizens aged 18 to 35 years
- Possess a Degree or HND in:
- Civil Engineering
- Mechanical Engineering
- Electrical Engineering
- Or a related discipline from a recognized institution
- Be currently unemployed and not engaged in:
- Government service
- Any full-time employment
- Provide evidence of:
- NYSC completion, exemption, or exclusion
- Reside in, or be willing to work within, any Local Government Area where the Ministry has ongoing projects
- Demonstrate basic computer literacy
- Familiarity with engineering software is an added advantage (not compulsory)
- Show willingness to fully participate in:
- Structured field training
- Mentorship modules
Skilled Artisans (Technical Category)
Applicants must:
- Be Nigerian citizens aged 18 to 45 years
- Possess:
- Recognized vocational training
- Trade test certificates, or
- Verifiable practical experience
- Be unemployed at the time of application
- Be physically fit for construction-related fieldwork
- Be willing to undergo:
- Additional technical training
- Safety certification
- Supervised project attachment
