The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has announced that candidates who participated in the 2026 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) will be able to print their original result slips within two hours on Wednesday.
The announcement was made by JAMB’s Public Communication Adviser, Dr. Fabian Benjamin, in a statement issued in Abuja.
Benjamin explained that the Original Result Slip contains important details such as candidates’ photographs, national rankings, and other security features that help verify its authenticity for official use.
He noted that the document is a key requirement for post-UTME screening exercises and admission processing in tertiary institutions across the country.
According to him, candidates can conveniently print the result slip using any internet-enabled device or by visiting accredited business centres.
The JAMB spokesman further advised candidates to carefully check all information displayed on the slip immediately after printing to ensure accuracy.
He also encouraged candidates to keep copies of the document safely, as it will be needed during various stages of the admission process.
