The WTO Young Professionals Program is designed to build the capacity of young professionals by enhancing their understanding of global trade systems and the work of the WTO. Eligibility Criteria
To be qualified for the WTO Young Professionals Program, applicants must:
- Possess an advanced university degree in economics, econometrics, international relations, law, environmental studies, or other trade-related fields
- Have a general understanding of WTO operations
- Demonstrate technical knowledge in relevant areas
- Have strong writing skills in English (knowledge of French or Spanish is an advantage)
- Be able to work independently and in a team within a multicultural environment
- Show strong interest in international trade and the multilateral trading system
- Demonstrate passion and commitment to WTO-related work
- Be 32 years or younger as of January 1, 2027
- Be fluent in English (knowledge of French or Spanish is an added advantage)
Scholarship Benefits
Successful applicants will receive:
