The Visa Scholarship Programme was established in partnership with The Windsor Fellowship as part of Visa’s commitment to promoting equal access to higher education. The programme is aimed at supporting talented students from underrepresented and financially disadvantaged backgrounds who are pursuing undergraduate degrees in the UK.
Beyond providing financial assistance for tuition fees, the scholarship offers comprehensive support throughout participants’ academic journey, including mentorship from Visa professionals, leadership development, career coaching, technical training, and opportunities to gain practical work experience through internships and other career-focused programmes.
Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for the Visa UK Scholarship Programme, applicants must:
- Be applying or intending to enrol as a full-time undergraduate student at an accredited university in the United Kingdom.
- Have applied to study an undergraduate degree in:
- Computer Science
- Information Science
- Cybersecurity
- Engineering
- Mathematics
- Human Resources
- Finance
- Marketing
- Sales
- International Business
- Or another eligible STEM or Business-related discipline.
- Have applied through UCAS for a full-time three-year undergraduate programme for the 2026/2027 academic year.
- Be eligible to work and study in the UK and qualify for Home Fee Status.
- Demonstrate financial need with a combined household income below £50,000 per year.
- Be receiving, have previously received, or have been eligible for:
- Free School Meals
- Pupil Premium
- Education Maintenance Allowance (EMA)
- 16–19 Bursaries
- Be applying for their first undergraduate degree.
Scholarship Benefits
Successful applicants for the Visa Scholarship Programme will receive:

How to Apply
To apply for the Visa Scholarship Programme:
- Visit the official scholarship application webpage.
- Complete the online application form.
- Fill out the required financial information form.
- Complete the Visa online assessment test.
- If shortlisted, attend the virtual assessment centre organised by The Windsor Fellowship, which includes a presentation and interview.
- Successful candidates will proceed to a final virtual interview with the Visa team.
- Selected scholars will be notified after the final selection process.
- Applicants are advised to carefully read the Visa Scholarship FAQ 2026 before submitting their application.
- Ensure your application is completed before the August 2, 2026 deadline, as incomplete or ineligible applications will not be considered.
