Eligibility Criteria

Applicants must:
- Be international applicants from eligible countries, including Canada, China, the United States, South Korea, Japan, Australia, Morocco, South Africa, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Mexico, Uruguay, Thailand, Singapore, Vietnam, and the United Kingdom.
- Be accepted into their selected programme.
- Be nominated by their home university.
- Be applying for an exchange programme at the Bachelor’s or Master’s level.
- Not be beneficiaries of Luxembourg’s State Financial Aid for Higher Education, formerly known as CEDIES.
Guillaume Dupaix International PhD Scholarship
Applicants must:
- Be international applicants from the eligible countries listed by the scholarship programme.
- Be applying for a PhD programme at the University of Luxembourg.
- Demonstrate excellent academic performance.
- Meet the admission requirements of their chosen doctoral programme.
- Be nominated by their home university where applicable.
- Not be beneficiaries of Luxembourg’s State Financial Aid for Higher Education.
A&O Shearman Scholarship & Internship
Applicants must:
- Be incoming or outgoing exchange students at or from the Bachelor in Law programme in the Faculty of Law, Economics and Finance.
- Incoming students must commit to completing a full academic year at the University of Luxembourg.
- Be enrolled in the relevant Bachelor in Law or Master in Law studies.
- Complete the required credits and law-related courses at the University of Luxembourg.
- Reside or intend to reside in Luxembourg or the Greater Region of Luxembourg.
- Meet the family-income requirements specified in the scholarship call.
- Fulfil any additional requirements established for the scholarship and internship.
Scholarship Benefits

Guillaume Dupaix International PhD Scholarship
- Approximately €1,150 monthly stipend.
- €1,500 travel grant.
Guillaume Dupaix International Exchange Scholarship
- Approximately €5,763 per semester, including housing support.

- €5,000 per student.
