The Roche Nigeria Internship Program is part of a global initiative spanning over 20 countries, where innovative minds collaborate to address real-world challenges in innovation and sustainability. The 2026 program provides participants with hands-on experience in the pharmaceutical and healthcare space, enabling them to contribute meaningfully while building professional skills.
Through this internship, selected candidates will work on impactful projects, gain exposure to industry practices, and develop competencies that support healthcare advancement and system strengthening.
Eligibility Criteria
To be considered for the Roche Nigeria Internship Program, applicants must:
- Be currently enrolled in or have recently completed (within the last 12 months) a Master’s degree
- Have a background preferably in Public Health, Digital Health, Behavioral Science, Health Communication, International Development, or Social Sciences
- Be willing to participate in an internship lasting at least 3 months
Additional Requirements:
- Have experience or strong interest in UX/UI design, qualitative research, content development, data analysis, or project management
- Be familiar with digital health or mobile health solutions and interested in behavior change for public health
- Be able to simplify complex ideas into clear insights and communication materials
- Be organized, collaborative, and culturally aware, with strong storytelling and communication skills
- Be fluent in English (knowledge of Igbo, Hausa, or Yoruba is an added advantage)

Roles and Responsibilities
Interns selected for the Roche Nigeria Internship Program will:
- Support training of field staff on standardized sample collection and preservation
- Assist in monitoring collection and transport workflows
- Help oversee laboratory processes from sample reception to result delivery
- Support tracking of reagents and coordination with technical teams
- Monitor patient journey from testing to result delivery
- Document implementation challenges and success stories
- Assist in communication between healthcare stakeholders
- Analyze ways to optimize existing laboratory infrastructure for better healthcare outcomes
