Scholarship Details
The MTN Scholarship Scheme is one of the flagship initiatives of the MTN Foundation, established to recognize and reward high-performing students in Nigerian public tertiary institutions. Since its inception in 2010, the program has consistently supported academically outstanding undergraduates across universities, polytechnics, and colleges of education. It also includes a special category for blind students, ensuring inclusivity and equal access to educational support.
Each year, hundreds of students benefit from financial awards designed to cover tuition, books, and living expenses. Beneficiaries continue to receive the scholarship annually until graduation, provided they maintain the required academic performance. Additionally, the top 10 candidates in the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME), as announced by JAMB, are automatically awarded scholarships from their first year through to graduation, subject to meeting grade requirements.
