Competition Details
The MTN mPulse Spelling Bee Competition is organised by MTN Nigeria for students between the ages of 9 and 15 years. The competition is designed to help Nigerian students improve their English language proficiency and spelling abilities while giving them an opportunity to compete for valuable prizes.
The competition consists of multiple stages. The first stage takes place online through the MTN mPulse website and is open to eligible students aged 9–15.
The top 1,000 students from the first round will be invited by email to participate in the second round, which will also be conducted through the mPulse website.
Following the second round, the 20 students with the highest scores will qualify for the Grand Finale. Finalists will receive their invitations by email, and the Grand Finale will be held physically.
Eligibility Criteria
To be considered for the MTN mPulse Spelling Bee Competition 2026, applicants must:
- Be a primary or secondary school student in Nigeria.
- Be between 9 and 15 years old.
- Be resident in Nigeria.
- Register as a student to participate in the competition.
- Take the Practice Test Quiz as many times as possible to prepare.
- Participate in the competition through the official mPulse platform.
- Parents are not permitted to participate on behalf of students.
