Scholarship Details

The Junior Achievement Nigeria Venture in Management Program (ViMP) is a highly competitive leadership development initiative that introduces participants to essential business principles and ethical leadership through interactive workshops, practical case studies, and career development sessions. Facilitated in partnership with the Lagos Business School, the one-week mini-MBA provides participants with hands-on learning experiences while connecting them with accomplished professionals and alumni.
Since its launch in 2000, the program has trained more than 1,000 graduates who have gone on to build successful careers across business, government, and the social impact sector. Participants also contribute to community development by organizing career-readiness sessions for secondary school students through the program’s Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative.

Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible for the Junior Achievement Nigeria Venture in Management Program (ViMP), applicants must:

  • Be a Nigerian graduate aged 18–27 years.
  • Be awaiting NYSC posting, currently serving, or have completed NYSC within the last six months.
  • Be available for the full duration of the program.
  • Be willing to cover their travel expenses if selected for physical participation.

Program Delivery Mode

  • Physical Participation
    • The top 50 applicants with the highest assessment scores will attend the program physically at the Lagos Business School.
  • Virtual Participation
    • An additional 50 shortlisted candidates will participate virtually.
  • Applicants may indicate their preferred mode of participation during the application process.
  • Final selection for physical or virtual participation will be based on performance and available spaces.
