Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for the Schuman Traineeships, applicants must:
- Be at least 18 years old
- Be primarily from EU member states (limited spots available for non-EU applicants)
- Hold a completed university degree (or recognized EU vocational qualification where applicable)
- Have good knowledge of one EU language
- Possess working knowledge of another language such as English, French, or German
- Provide a valid criminal record certificate
- Have no more than two months of prior experience in an EU institution
- Not have participated in recent study visits to the European Parliament
