- Have received an offer for an ECU Higher Degree by Research programme including:
- Doctor of Philosophy (PhD)
- Integrated PhD
- Master by Research
- Be a domestic or international Master’s or PhD student
Applicants are not eligible if:
- They have received an Australian Agency for International Development (AusAID) or Australia Award scholarship within the last two years
- They do not have principal supervisor endorsement for the proposed research project
- Their PhD commencement date is after December 1, 2026
- Their Integrated PhD or Master by Research commencement date is after Semester 2, 2026
Scholarship Benefits
Successful applicants of the Edith Cowan University HDR Scholarship will receive:

- Partial Overseas Student Health Cover reimbursement for international students
