The Gates Scholarship (TGS) is a highly competitive, last-dollar scholarship established by the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation to support exceptional minority students from low-income families in achieving their academic goals. Eligibility Criteria
To be considered for The Gates Scholarship 2027, applicants must:
- Be a high school senior.
- Plan to enroll full-time in a four-year undergraduate degree program at an accredited, not-for-profit public or private college or university in the United States.
- Have a minimum cumulative weighted GPA of 3.3 on a 4.0 scale (or its equivalent).
- Be a U.S. citizen, national, or permanent resident.
- Belong to at least one of the following ethnic groups:

- American Indian/Alaska Native
