Scholarship Details

Eligibility Criteria

To be qualified for the Korea International Cooperation Agency Scholarship, applicants must:

  • Be a citizen of an eligible partner country
  • Be in good physical and mental health
  • Be under 40 years of age as of February 1, 2027
  • Demonstrate proficiency in English, as all courses are conducted in English
  • Be a civil servant or professional officially nominated or recommended by their government
  • Possess relevant professional experience:
    • At least 2 years of work experience for Master’s degree applicants
    • At least 3 years of work experience for Doctoral degree applicants

Scholarship Benefits

Successful applicants for the KOICA Scholarship will receive:

  • Monthly allowance of approximately 999,000 KRW (about USD 750)
  • Round-trip international airfare
  • Settlement allowance:
