Eligibility Criteria
To be qualified for the University of Leicester Undergraduate Merit Scholarship, applicants must:
- Be starting a full-time undergraduate programme* at the University of Leicester UK campus, beginning in September 2026, for year one, two, or three (maximum of three years).
- Make Leicester their firm choice by 30 June 2026 (UCAS applicants must accept by their UCAS reply deadline if earlier).
- Achieve the equivalent of two grades above the standard A-level entry requirement.
- Meet all offer conditions by 20 August 2026.
- Be classified as an international student for tuition purposes.
* Excludes Medicine, LLB Maitrise, STEM International Foundation, ‘International Year 1’ courses, and programmes lasting more than three years.
