Scholarship Details
The Erasmus Mundus Joint Master in Sustainable Mineral and Metal Processing Engineering (EMJM PROMISE) is a program created in response to the rising global need for minerals, metals, and material resources essential in renewable energy, digital technology, and sustainable industrial development.
The program is jointly delivered by four leading universities known for excellence in mining and mineral processing engineering. Students will study across different partner institutions, gaining exposure to diverse research environments, modern facilities, and professional networks that prepare them for careers in the global minerals and metallurgical sector.
Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for the Erasmus Mundus PROMISE Scholarship, applicants must:
- Hold at least a Bachelor’s degree in one of the following or closely related fields:
- Mineral Processing
- Metallurgical Engineering
- Chemical Engineering
- Materials / Mineral Resources Engineering
- Earth Resources Engineering
- Mining or Geological Engineering
- Related materials or process engineering fields
- Possess compulsory coursework in:
- Mathematics, and
- Chemistry or Physics
Applications missing these will not be considered.
- Provide a valid English Language Proficiency Certificate (this is mandatory, even if previous studies were conducted in English).
Scholarship Benefits
Successful applicants will receive:
