The University College London Global Masters Scholarship 2026/27 offers up to 85 scholarships to deserving students who demonstrate exceptional academic potential and financial need. Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for the 2026 UCL Global Masters Scholarship, applicants must:
- Be a citizen of a country outside the United Kingdom
- Be eligible to pay the Overseas fee rate
- Come from a lower-income background*
- Have submitted a complete admission application (including references) for a full-time Master’s degree at UCL for the 2026/27 academic year
Please note: Distance-learning programs are not eligible. Applicants must attend UCL in person in the UK.
Scholarship Benefits
Successful recipients of the UCL Global Masters Scholarship will receive:
- A £15,000 grant towards tuition and living costs
- Scholarship tenable for one year only, or split 50% each year for two-year full-time programs
- Flexibility to combine the award with other scholarships or funding sources (the total amount may be adjusted accordingly)
- The scholarship amount will be first applied to tuition fees, with any remainder distributed to the student in three equal instalments throughout the academic year for maintenance support
- Recipients must inform the UCL Student Funding Office of any additional financial support received during their study period
