The LCA Scholarship 2025 provides financial assistance of up to ₦200,000 to help students in Universities, Polytechnics, Colleges of Education, and Technical Colleges achieve their academic and career goals.

Scholarship Details
The Liberty Career Academy Scholarship Program is an initiative dedicated to empowering Nigerian students by easing the financial burden of higher education. The scheme is tailored to encourage academic excellence, leadership, and skill development among young Nigerians across various institutions.
Through this scholarship, the LCA aims to recognize individuals who demonstrate strong academic ability, financial need, leadership potential, and vocational talent. The 2025 edition features three major categories, each designed to reward different kinds of excellence and potential.

- Merit-Based Award
- Adeola Okungbaye Award
- Gifted Hands Award
Eligibility Criteria
General Requirements (Applicable to All Categories)
- Applicants must provide verifiable proof of all academic or non-academic accomplishments during the screening process.
- Must have a valid WASSCE + JAMB result, and if already enrolled in a tertiary institution, the most recent CGPA qualifies the candidate.
- Must be a Nigerian citizen or a legal resident from another African country studying or living in Nigeria.
- Must possess a valid government-issued means of identification (or provide a direct family member’s ID if unavailable).
- Must submit a 500-word Personal Statement (AI-generated statements lead to automatic disqualification).
Eligibility Requirements (Adeola Okungbaye Award)
- Must demonstrate financial need.
- Must be an orphan or from a single-parent family.
- Must be enrolled or admitted into an accredited University, Polytechnic, College of Education, or Technical College within Nigeria.
- Must show academic excellence with a minimum of 3.5/5.0 CGPA or 220/400 JAMB Score for newly admitted students.
- Must meet all general requirements of the LCA Scholarship Program.
Eligibility Requirements (Merit-Based Scholarship)
- Must be enrolled in or admitted into an accredited tertiary institution in Nigeria.
- Must have a minimum of 3.70/5.0 CGPA or 240/400 JAMB Score (for new entrants).
- Must demonstrate exceptional academic ability and leadership potential.
- Must show involvement in extra-curricular activities.
- Must meet all general requirements of the LCA Scholarship Program.
Eligibility Requirements (Gifted Hands Scholarship)
- Applicants must be between 18 and 25 years old.
- Must have valid admission or be enrolled in an accredited private/public vocational or technical institution in Nigeria.
- Must be currently unemployed.
- Must demonstrate leadership potential.
- Must meet all general requirements of the LCA Scholarship Program.
Scholarship Benefits
Successful applicants of the LCA Scholarship 2025 will receive the following:
- Adeola Okungbaye Award: ₦200,000 scholarship for selected indigent students.
- Merit-Based Award: ₦150,000 scholarship for outstanding academic achievers.
- Gifted Hands Award: ₦100,000 scholarship for vocationally talented awardees.
