Nigerian students aspiring to pursue postgraduate studies in the UK can now benefit from up to £20,000 (approximately ₦42 million) in tuition support through the WMG Africa Scholarship, offered by the University of Warwick, a top-ranked academic institution in the United Kingdom.

The scholarship is available for full-time MSc programmes at Warwick’s WMG department, covering high-demand disciplines such as Engineering, Business, Technology, Innovation, and Healthcare. The initiative follows a recent visit to Nigeria and Ghana by Dr. Anthony Olomolaiye, a British-Nigerian academic at the university. During his visit, he hosted a WMG Information Day in Lagos and interacted with alumni and prospective students at QS education fairs in Abuja and Lagos.

Dr. Olomolaiye stated that the university is committed to supporting emerging leaders from West Africa by providing access to world-class education and practical, industry-relevant skills.

Eligible programmes include MSc Cyber Security, MSc Applied Artificial Intelligence, MSc Engineering Business Management, MSc Innovation and Entrepreneurship, and MSc Healthcare Operational Management, among others.

In addition to the WMG Africa Scholarship, the university also offers the WMG Excellence Scholarship, which provides up to £15,000 in tuition discounts. Applications for the 2025 academic year are now open, and prospective students are encouraged to apply early to increase their chances.
