However, Agricultural Economics and Farm Management was granted interim accreditation with an overall score of 80.9%, affected by a staffing score of 68.6%.

The College of Basic Sciences recorded remarkable results, with Physics with Electronics, Mathematics, Microbiology, and Statistics all scoring above 90%. Physics and Mathematics each scored 96.6%, topping the faculty’s list. Chemistry and Industrial Chemistry, despite scoring above 80%, received interim accreditation due to staffing issues.

Programmes under the Colleges of Environmental Sciences and Social Sciences/Administration also performed strongly, securing full accreditation. Mass Communication recorded a score of 92.7%, Industrial Design achieved 95.6%, and Economics topped the university with an exceptional 97.4%.

Reacting to the achievement, the Vice Chancellor, Professor Olumuyiwa Odusanya, expressed deep gratitude to the staff, students, and stakeholders. He dedicated the success to the Visitor to the university, Lagos State Governor, Mr. Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu, and also appreciated the Honourable Commissioner for Tertiary Education, Mr. Tolani Sule, as well as the Governing Council led by Professor Rasheed Kola Ojikutu.

Professor Odusanya assured that with 14 additional programmes coming up for accreditation this year, the institution is committed to maintaining and surpassing its current academic standards.
