Marketing communications agency Nitro 121 has empowered secondary school students in Lagos with practical creative skills through its new corporate social responsibility initiative, Fuelling Future Creatives.

In a statement, the company revealed that students from Victory Grammar School and Victory High School in Ikeja participated in a one-day creative immersion programme held to commemorate Nitro 121’s 20th anniversary.

Speaking during the event, Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of Nitro 121, Lampe Omoyele, said the initiative aimed to “fuel the creativity of future leaders” by introducing them to real-world digital tools essential for thriving in today’s economy.

“Every human being has the gift of creativity,” Omoyele told the students. “This event is designed to help you discover and sharpen that gift. Creativity is needed in every facet of life.”

During the sessions, senior secondary students received practical training in graphic design, video editing, and using artificial intelligence for content creation. The facilitators included Nitro 121’s Creative Director Chamberlin Ukenedo, Digital Content Writer Faith Ekekwe, Copywriter Kedonojo Williams, and Brand Strategist Favour Alilu.

The programme was moderated by the agency’s CSR Lead, Kehinde Adollo, who affirmed that the event fulfilled its goal of inspiring and equipping a new generation of creative minds.

Students were awarded certificates of participation at the end of the workshop, marking the beginning of what the organisers described as their creative journey.

Principal of Victory Grammar School, Adeyinka Afolayan, praised Nitro 121 for what she described as “excellent training,” commending the interactive modules and the provision of materials for both students and teachers.

“This kind of initiative not only equips our students with 21st-century skills but also shows them what is possible beyond the classroom,” she added.
