The Nigerian Law School has officially opened the application process for its 2025 Bar Part I Course.
According to a notice signed by Aderonke O. Osho, Secretary to the Council and Director of Administration, the application window begins on Wednesday, July 16, 2025, and will close on Friday, August 19, 2025.
The programme is scheduled to commence on Monday, September 2, 2025, at the Nigerian Law School headquarters in Bwari, Abuja.
Eligibility for the Bar Part I Course is limited to Nigerian law graduates from Common Law countries, provided their qualifications have been approved by the Council of Legal Education. The Law School emphasized that degrees obtained through part-time study, Open University, distance learning, or online platforms are not acceptable for this programme.
Interested applicants must complete the application form available on the school’s official website, www.nigerianlawschool.edu.ng, and submit the completed form via email to [email protected] no later than Friday, August 25, 2025.
Additionally, candidates are required to ensure that their academic transcripts and completed Forms B, B1, and B2 are forwarded directly from their university or employer to [email protected] on or before Friday, September 1, 2025. All email submissions must use the applicant’s name and application number as the subject line.
The Law School stressed that all application materials must be submitted within the specified deadlines, as late submissions will not be considered. Applicants are also advised to retain their application numbers to check their admission status.
