The Mastercard Foundation, in partnership with Arizona State University (ASU), offers an online graduate certificate scholarship in key areas such as Global Management and Supply Chain Management. These self-paced programs are designed to build in-demand professional skills while earning ASU credits that may count toward a Master’s degree.
Upon completing the certificate, scholars are automatically considered for a fully funded Master’s program in either Supply Chain Management or Leadership Management. The program encourages scholars to use their education to drive community-based solutions and foster development across Africa.
Eligibility Criteria
To be considered for the Mastercard ASU Online Graduate Certificate 2025, applicants must:
- Be a citizen of an African country
- Be between the ages of 18 and 33 by the application deadline
- Show commitment to ethical leadership and community engagement
- Demonstrate a track record of leadership and service
- Exhibit strong academic potential and financial need
- Have earned an undergraduate degree by July 2025
- Not have started or completed another graduate or Master’s degree before August 2025
