The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has officially released the results of the 2026 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) mock test, which was held nationwide on Saturday, March 28, 2026.

This announcement was made in a statement issued in Abuja by the Board’s Public Communication Advisor, Dr. Fabian Benjamin, who encouraged candidates who took part in the mock examination to check their results through JAMB’s approved channels.

To access their scores, candidates are required to send “MOCKRESULT” via SMS to either 55019 or 66019 using the same phone number they used during their UTME registration.

According to JAMB, 224,597 candidates initially registered for the mock examination. However, 152,586 candidates eventually participated in the exercise, which was conducted across 989 Computer-Based Test (CBT) centres nationwide.

The Board also revealed that over 20 CBT centres have been removed from its list of approved centres due to several technical problems experienced during the mock exercise. These centres were delisted after failing to meet the operational standards required to ensure a smooth and reliable examination process.

Dr. Benjamin also cautioned candidates to be wary of fraudsters, particularly individuals operating through WhatsApp, who claim they can manipulate or increase UTME scores.

He stressed that such claims are false and illegal, warning that candidates who engage with such individuals risk serious consequences.

The statement further explained that any candidate caught engaging in examination malpractice or collaborating with fraudsters will have their registration cancelled. It added that if any violation is discovered after the examination, the candidate’s result may be withheld or completely withdrawn.

JAMB also reminded candidates that the main UTME for the 2026 examination cycle will begin on Thursday, April 16, 2026, urging all registered candidates to prepare properly and strictly follow all examination rules and guidelines.
