Scholarship Details
The Youth of Excellence Scheme of China Scholarship is part of the Chinese Government’s initiative to support highly capable professionals around the world.
The YES Scholarship focuses on training candidates with:

- Professional experience
- Multicultural competence
Most programs lead to a Master’s degree within 12 months, while some follow a “1+1” model, where candidates complete full-time study and research in the first year, and finalize dissertation work subsequently.
Eligibility Criteria
To be considered, applicants must:
- Be a citizen of a country other than China, physically and mentally healthy, and under 45 years old.
- Hold a Bachelor’s degree or higher, with at least three years of work experience.
- Preferably have work or training background related to the intended field of study.
- Fall under one of the following categories:
- Government official at division chief level (or equivalent)
- Senior manager in a company or organization
- Administrator in a university or research institution
- Individual with experience working or interning in an international organization
- Obtain a pre-admission letter from a participating university (must not include any scholarship commitment).

- Ensure you have received a pre-admission letter from one of the participating subprograms before applying.
