The programme offers 15 internship tracks designed to help participants contribute to global initiatives, engage in high-level projects, and support impactful coalitions across various sectors.

The World Economic Forum views early-career talents as a vital part of its mission and organizational growth. As the International Organization for Public-Private Cooperation, the Forum plays a key role in shaping global, regional, and industry agendas both digitally and physically. Through its Early Career Programme, the Forum invites young professionals from diverse backgrounds, skillsets, and experiences to participate in strategic operations, knowledge-building, and engagement with global constituents.
Selected individuals will work full-time onsite for six months at Forum offices in Geneva, Mumbai, Beijing, or Tokyo, contributing to key projects, building expertise, and supporting collaborative initiatives that align with global priorities.
Eligibility Criteria
To qualify for the World Economic Forum Early Career Program, applicants must:
- Hold a Bachelor’s degree with 1–2 years relevant work experience
- Be available for a 6-month onsite placement
- Demonstrate strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Communicate clearly and confidently
- Adapt easily to new environments and challenges
- Excel in teamwork and relationship-building
- Show interest and experience in programme management, project leadership, and community management
- Have experience writing for professional audiences, including digital publishing or content creation
- Have excellent spoken and written English, with strong professional writing skills
- Be a digital native familiar with collaboration tools, proficient in MS Office, and able to use CRM platforms such as Salesforce (database management is an advantage)
Program Benefits
Successful applicants will receive:
- A full-time onsite employment contract for 6 months at WEF offices in Geneva, Mumbai, Beijing, or Tokyo
- Monthly compensation as follows:
- CHF 4500 (Salary + medical allowance) – Switzerland
- INR 91,600 – India
- CNY 12,500 – China
- JPY 333,333 – Japan
