Drawing insights from the Government Analytics Handbook, and delivered with academic collaboration from University College London, the fellowship combines cutting-edge research, real-world case studies, and mentorship from senior World Bank experts.

Fellows will gain actionable skills to improve public administration and drive data-informed decisions within their respective organizations. The program includes two weeks of intensive, in-person training in Washington D.C., and continues with remote engagement over a total span of six months.

Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible for the World Bank Government Analytics Fellowship, applicants must:

  • Be able to travel to Washington D.C. for a two-week in-person training component
  • Be nominated by their organization (up to 2 nominees per organization)
  • Be employed within central government bodies or public agencies
  • Hold a mid-level managerial or senior analyst role, with authority to lead an analytics project
  • Demonstrate prior academic exposure to statistics or quantitative methods
  • Be proficient in English
