- Score a minimum of 170 in the UTME
- Ensure their UTME and O’Level results are uploaded on the JAMB portal
- Candidates awaiting O’Level results must upload them to JAMB once available
- Applicants who did not initially choose Wigwe University but meet the cut-off mark must change their first-choice institution to Wigwe University on the JAMB portal before the change of institution deadline
- Failure to upload the required results to JAMB will result in disqualification

All selected candidates will receive partial tuition waivers based on their UTME scores. The levels of scholarship awards are as follows:
- Founder’s Scholarship: 300 and above in JAMB – 60% tuition discount
- Board of Trustees Chairman’s Scholarship: 250–299 in JAMB – 50% tuition discount
- Pro-Chancellor’s Merit Scholarship: 220–249 in JAMB – 40% tuition discount
- Vice-Chancellor’s Academic Scholarship: 180–219 in JAMB – 30% tuition discount
