Scholarship Details

The Streby Lab at the University of Toledo is recruiting a motivated PhD student to join a newly funded research project focused on nocturnal migrant songbirds. The research explores how these birds move and select habitats in response to experimental changes in anthropogenic light, offering the candidate a chance to contribute to cutting-edge work in animal movement ecology. The selected student will become part of a collaborative graduate community within the Department of Environmental Sciences, housed under the College of Natural Sciences and Mathematics.

The Streby Lab specializes in population ecology, behavioral evolution, and movement ecology, with a strong emphasis on generating science that supports biodiversity conservation. Eligibility Criteria
