The University of Rwanda has announced its fully funded EAC Regional Centre of Excellence Scholarship for Africans seeking to pursue Master’s degree programs in regional development.
The University of Rwanda Scholarship covers €6,000 as tuition, economy class return air tickets to Kigali and back for face-to-face sessions, and a living allowance of EUR 60 (or equivalent in RWF) per day during your stay in Rwanda for on-site academic sessions.

Scholarship Details
The University of Rwanda informs prospective applicants that the online application portal is open for Postgraduate Academic Programmes offered under its East African Community Regional Centre of Excellence for Vaccines, Immunization and Health Supply Chain Management (EAC RCE-VIHSCM) for the 2025 September intake.
Applications will be accepted between May 15, 2025, and June 30, 2025.
Eligibility Criteria
To be qualified for the University of Rwanda EAC Regional Centre of Excellence Scholarship, applicants must:
- Be a citizen of one of the selected African countries
- Meet the minimum entry requirements for the advertised postgraduate programmes as published on the University of Rwanda website
Scholarship Benefits
Successful applicants will receive:
- Tuition Fees: €6,000 for the entire duration of the course
- Economy Class Return Air Tickets to Kigali and back home for face-to-face sessions
- Living Allowance: EUR 60 per day (or equivalent in RWF) during your stay in Rwanda. This covers accommodation, meals, and ground transport

- Navigate to the Admissions section
- Click on the Applicant Portal and select “New Application”
- Complete the Biographical Form and click “Save”
