The UNITAR Traineeship 2025 is a paid opportunity for international students and recent graduates to build their skills in communication, public relations, design, and international development. The traineeship will run for a period of 4 to 6 months and will take place at the UNITAR Headquarters in Geneva, Switzerland.
Trainees will receive a monthly stipend of €964 (equivalent to 900 CHF) to cover transportation and other miscellaneous costs. During the program, participants will work under the supervision of a UNITAR officer to design and develop communication materials such as social media content, flyers, web designs, emails, and more. Eligibility Criteria
To be considered for the UNITAR Traineeship, applicants must:
- Be enrolled in or a recent graduate (within 2 years) of a relevant degree (Communication, PR, Graphic Design, Video Production/Editing, Marketing, International Relations, or related)
- Be proficient in basic computer applications (online tools, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, internet)
- Demonstrate strong problem-solving skills
- Have strong communication skills
- Possess a strong sense of storytelling (an added advantage)
