The TY Danjuma MBA Scholarship 2025 provides financial support to help cover the costs of studying an MBA at leading institutions in the UK, USA, or Europe, as ranked by the Financial Times Global MBA Rankings.

Scholarship Details

Established in 2011 by General TY Danjuma through the TY Danjuma Foundation, this scholarship was created to support outstanding African students who gain admission into the world’s top MBA programs. The Foundation, a private philanthropic organization based in Abuja, Nigeria, works to improve lives through strategic interventions and grant-making.

Since its inception, the scholarship has supported over 50 students from countries including Nigeria, South Africa, Uganda, Zimbabwe, Ghana, Morocco, Togo, and Côte d’Ivoire.

The scholarship is open to all successful African MBA applicants who have gained admission into any of the top 10 business schools worldwide, regardless of their country of residence.

Eligibility Criteria

To be qualified for the TY Danjuma MBA Scholarship, applicants must:

  • Be a citizen of an African country
  • Have been accepted into an MBA program at one of the top 10 business schools in the world, according to the Financial Times Global Ranking

Scholarship Benefits

Successful applicants of the TY Danjuma MBA Scholarship will receive:

  • Partial financial support in the form of a grant to assist with tuition or living costs
  • Grant disbursed before the start date of the MBA program
  • Support designed to bridge the funding gap, but not to serve as the primary source of MBA funding

To apply for this scholarship, applicants must prepare to submit:

  • Full Name
  • Nationality
  • Full contact details
  • Name of the Business School where they have been accepted
  • Year of enrolment
  • Copy of offer letter from the Business School
  • Updated CV
  • Personal budget and funding shortfall document (include confirmation of any other scholarships or loans)
