Scholarship Details
The ISDB-Turkiye Joint Scholarship Programme is designed to empower international students from IsDB member countries and Muslim communities globally to study at top universities in Turkey. This initiative reflects the ongoing commitment of YTB and IsDB to nurture human capital development, equipping students and scholars with skills essential for development in Science, Technology, and other fields.
Scholarship applications can be submitted in eight languages: Turkish, Arabic, English, French, Russian, Bosnian, Persian, and Spanish. The program provides full tuition coverage, living stipends, travel expenses, accommodation, healthcare, and additional allowances, depending on the level of study. Successful applicants will also gain university admission support to ensure smooth enrollment in their chosen programs.
Eligibility Criteria
To qualify for the Turkey Government YTB-IsDB Joint Scholarship 2026, applicants must:
- Be financially disadvantaged, with study at risk without support
- Not be an IsDB staff member, Executive Director, alternate, or close relative of staff (mother, father, sibling, child, aunt, uncle, niece, nephew)
- Have completed senior secondary education (or equivalent 12 years of schooling) with strong grades in major science subjects
- Demonstrate language proficiency in the medium of instruction (English, French, or Turkish) via recognized certificates (e.g., TOEFL, IELTS, or equivalent)
- Provide certified English or French translations for documents not in these languages
- Be medically fit and willing to undergo a medical examination after selection
- Preferably have secured admission to a recognized college or university in a relevant discipline in their home country
- Not be living outside their home country
- Not be a beneficiary of any other scholarship during the application or study period
Scholarship Benefits
Selected applicants of the YTB-IsDB Joint Scholarship will receive:
- Full tuition fee coverage
- $4,200 – $4,800 annual stipend depending on the study country
- Accommodation and living expenses

- Roundtrip airline tickets
- Settlement allowance for students studying abroad
- Graduation thesis allowance for postgraduate students

- Scientific paper allowance for post-doctoral programs
