Scholarship Details

The Taiwan AID NGO Fellowship Program is designed to nurture global leadership and strengthen international cooperation through meaningful engagement with Taiwanese non-governmental organisations. The program provides fellows with the opportunity to participate in professional workshops, roundtable discussions, and a three-week placement within a Taiwanese NGO that aligns with their professional background and expertise.

During the one-month fellowship, participants will gain first-hand exposure to the daily operations of NGOs in Taiwan while collaborating with professionals from different cultural and professional backgrounds. Fellows may contribute to activities such as event planning, project management, fundraising, and community engagement initiatives, depending on their area of specialization.

The fellowship emphasizes practical learning and professional development, enabling participants to build relevant skills while working on impactful projects. These experiences are expected to strengthen participants’ knowledge and provide a solid foundation for developing future collaboration initiatives within their home countries.

Eligibility Criteria

To be considered for the Taiwan AID NGO Fellowship Program, applicants must meet the following requirements:

  • Applicants must be between 25 and 40 years old
  • Applicants must have at least three years of experience in the NGO sector
  • Applicants must demonstrate professional excellence and leadership potential
  • Applicants must be self-motivated and capable of working independently
  • Applicants must be able to complete the fellowship program with dedication and active participation
  • Applicants must have excellent written and spoken English skills
  • Mandarin language proficiency is an added advantage
